Pumpkin in the Buff

Most of my blogspace is crammed with words, but now and then, I choose to record my Song of the Lark moments. Those instants when the soul stands stripped of swag before the simple beauty of creation.

     This is one of those.

    1. Thank you...I think the pumpkin did most of the work.

  3. I don't think your blog is ever crammed with words, each one is precisely perfect to the moment. But yes, this pumpkin easily stands alone. I always look for a pumpkin with character!

  4. "Song of the Lark" moments. Ah, that brings back one of my favorite books when I was a teenager: The Song of the Lark, Willa Cather, marvelous writer. Great pictures. I came to your blog from Pamela Terry's blog (and her wonderful ghost story). I'll be back.

    1. Welcome, Elizabeth!

I've read the book too, but it is the painting by the same name that captures, for me, those special moments.

    1. I deleted my "follower" feature in order to make room for the list of books I read. I love getting suggestions from fellow readers and have discovered many good books from the reading lists of other bloggers.
